Privacy Policy

This page explains what personal data we collect when you use this website or send us an enquiry, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it. Written to be read, not to be hidden behind.

Last updated 29 September 2026 No advertising trackers on this site We do not sell your data Contact: info@yoyangpower.com

This policy explains what information we collect when you use yoyangpower.com or send us an enquiry, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It is written to be read rather than skimmed past — but if you only have a moment, the summary below covers the essentials.

  • We collect what you send us in an enquiry, plus basic technical data our server records automatically.
  • We use it to answer you, to quote, to ship, and to support what we sell.
  • We do not run advertising or behavioural-tracking scripts, and anonymous visitors are not tracked with marketing cookies.
  • We do not sell or rent your personal data.
  • You can ask what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing info@yoyangpower.com.
Section 1

Who we are

yoyangpower.com is operated by Yoyang, a small, specialist export team based in China. We supply off-grid solar power systems for CCTV cameras, WiFi routers and remote equipment.

For the purposes of data protection law, Yoyang is the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

You can reach us at info@yoyangpower.com or on WhatsApp at +86 173 1279 3518. We typically reply within 24 hours, Monday to Saturday (China time, GMT+8).

Section 2

What personal data we collect and why

Information you give us

When you submit an enquiry form, send us an email, or message us on WhatsApp, we receive the information you choose to provide. On our enquiry forms this typically includes:

  • your name and email address;
  • company name and country;
  • phone or WhatsApp number, if you add one;
  • the details of your requirement — for example the type of site, how many cameras you need to power, your approximate load, and your delivery port or destination.

We need this information to understand what you are powering, to work out which system fits, and to reply with a usable quotation.

Information collected automatically

When a page is requested, our web server records basic technical information: IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, the referring page, and your browser and device type. We use this for site security, to diagnose faults, and to produce aggregate statistics — how many visits, which pages are read, which countries they come from.

We measure traffic with a statistics tool that runs on our own server and stores its data in our own database. It distinguishes visits using technical request data (such as IP address and browser string) processed on our server, rather than a cookie placed on your device. It does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not share its records with anyone.

What we do not collect

  • We do not run advertising or behavioural-tracking services. There is no advertising tag, no social media pixel and no retargeting script on this site.
  • We do not build visitor profiles, and we do not sell, rent or trade personal data.
  • We do not ask for or store payment card details on this website. Payment is arranged off-site, through your own bank or payment provider.
  • We do not knowingly collect special category data, such as health or biometric data, and we ask that you do not send it to us.
Section 3

Cookies and similar technologies

Anonymous visitors. If you are simply reading our pages and you are not logged in, this site does not place tracking or marketing cookies on your device. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels or social media cookies.

Strictly necessary cookies. The site is built on WordPress. If a member of our team logs in to the administration area, WordPress sets functional cookies to keep the session open and to protect the login form. These are not used for tracking, they are not shared with anyone, and they are not set for ordinary visitors.

Managing cookies. You can block, delete or restrict cookies in your browser settings at any time. Because we do not rely on tracking cookies, doing so will not change how the site works for you.

Section 4

Resources loaded from other websites

This site does not embed videos, maps, social media feeds or third-party chat widgets.

Our pages do load web fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests those font files, Google receives your IP address, as a technical requirement of delivering the file. Google does not receive your name, your email address or the contents of your enquiry.

Links that leave our site — for example to a standards body, a transport reference or a supplier’s documentation — take you to websites we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own, and we encourage you to read their policies before sharing information with them.

Section 5

Who we share your data with

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with the service providers needed to run the website and to serve your enquiry:

  • Hosting. Our website and its database run on a server provided by Tencent Cloud, located in the United States (Ashburn, Virginia).
  • Email. The mailbox and delivery service we use to send and receive enquiry notifications.
  • Form protection. Our enquiry forms are protected by a honeypot method that runs on our own server. It does not send your data to a third party.
  • Freight and documentation. If you place an order, we share only the details required for freight booking and customs documents with the forwarder or carrier handling your shipment.
  • Legal requirements. We may disclose information where we are required to do so by law, for example for customs or tax purposes, or where it is necessary to establish or protect legal rights.

We do not allow any service provider to use your information for their own marketing.

Section 6

Where your data is sent

Our website is hosted in the United States and our team works from China. If you contact us from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region that restricts transfers abroad, your information will be transferred to and processed in those locations.

We keep these transfers to what is necessary. Access is limited to the people who need it in order to answer you, connections to the website are encrypted (HTTPS), and we keep a record of what we hold and why we hold it.

Section 7

How long we retain your data

  • Enquiries and quotations that do not lead to an order: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, so that we can pick up a conversation you may want to return to.
  • Orders and related documents: for as long as tax, accounting and export rules require, and for the duration of the warranty that applies to the products supplied.
  • Server logs: kept for a limited period for security and fault diagnosis, then deleted.
  • Statistics: retained in aggregated form. Identifiable visit records are removed on a rolling basis so that nothing older than 12 months remains.

If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so, unless we are legally required to keep a particular record — for example an invoice.

Section 8

What rights you have over your data

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • ask whether we hold personal data about you, and receive a copy of it;
  • ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete information we no longer need;
  • object to certain processing, or ask us to restrict it;
  • withdraw consent, where we rely on consent;
  • receive information you gave us in a portable format;
  • exercise these rights without being treated differently as a result.

To make a request, email info@yoyangpower.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line. We will respond within 30 days. We may ask for information to confirm your identity first, so that we do not disclose data to the wrong person.

If you are in the EEA or the UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Section 9

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. There is therefore no sale for you to opt out of, and no “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link is required on this site.

We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for any purpose beyond those permitted by law.

If this ever changes — for example if we add an advertising or retargeting service — we will update this policy first and provide the opt-out that the law requires.

Section 10

How we keep your data safe

We serve the whole site over HTTPS, we limit access to enquiry data to the people who need it in order to answer you, and we keep the number of systems holding personal data as small as we reasonably can.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a breach occurs that is likely to result in a risk to your rights, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.

Section 11

Children

This site is intended for business and professional use. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Section 12

Links to other websites

Our pages link to other websites, for example a standards body or a shipping reference. Those sites are not covered by this policy and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read their policies before providing information to them.

Section 13

Changes to this policy

We review this policy whenever we change how the site or the business handles personal data. When we do, we update the date at the top of this page. We will not materially reduce your rights without saying so on this page.

Section 14
